As President of the Employee Benefits Division, Peter Winter, CLU brings over 35 years of experience to Westlake Risk & Insurance Services. Peter has a very technical background with his Bachelors from Cal Poly and his Masters from Cal Tech in Pasadena. He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a student of the business.
Peter has taught SHRM employee benefits courses through UCSB extension. Peter has been on both the carrier side and the agency side of the business. His past experience includes careers with Aetna, Sedgwick and USI where he built their employee benefits practice from the ground up to a vibrant consulting group.
He has returned to his roots in Ventura County where he has lived for the past 38 years. His large group consulting experience will be invaluable to all size clients. Take advantage of his expertise and skill set to develop strategies for your own employee benefits programs.
